Welcome to Goldsborough Cricket Club
Welcome to the home of Goldsborough Cricket Club,a village team from North Yorkshire.We are members of the Nidderdale Saturday League ,Harrogate Evening (Wed) and Whixley (thurs)leagues.
The club also runs three junior teams ,under 11's, under 13's and under 15's,and plays friendly matches at home on most sundays.
With the 2003 season now under way the web site is now fully functional with fixtures and results updated weekly and a number of photographs within the photo gallery section of the information board.

New 1st XI skipper Steve Robshaw is looking for a quick return to the first division and the club have the services of Tony Coulson as the fisrt ever oversaes player,and have also gained the experienced Mike Gear.
Welcome to both Tony and Mike and also to Steve Cullerton who had a very good debut for the 2nd's on the first week of the season.
Congratulations to Tony Whitehead who collected the saturday division four bowling award in 2002,taking 31 wickets at an average of 10.Also to Steve Robshaw who collected the evening league division six batting award averaging 101 from 9 innings,helping the B team to the division 6 championship.
The club also collected the saturday division four ground award whilst the saturday 2nd XI collected the Sportsmanship award for the 2nd successive year

The Ist team have already won the Atkinson Cup as man of the match Kevin Wilks demolished the early order to see Birstwith allout for a paltry 64. Tony Coulson (34 n.o.) and David Cummings then saw Goldsborough home to victory by 7 wickets
Victory last wednesday saw the 1st team remain unbeaten in the Evening League , the Division 3 trophy having been clinched the previous week.

By scoring 300-6 in the previous round ,the score will be included in the alltime records of the competition as a team score of 300 or more.
In 1988 when Golsborough made 259-3 in reply to Hesleton's target of 266-6, the aggregate score of 525 runs was the 4th highest on record at that time.Even now ,15 yrs later,it is still the 17th highest aggregate score of all time.

Apply to become an on-line Member of the Club
To become an online member of Goldsborough Cricket Club please take the following steps:
1. Register with Play-Cricket by either clicking on the ‘register’ button on the Play-Cricket home page or on the Goldsborough Cricket Club home page. This will create your Play-Cricket username and password
2. Either following your registration or after you have logged on using your Play-Cricket username and password click on ‘my profile’ and click on the ‘memberships’ area
3. In ‘memberships’ click on ‘apply for new membership’ and search for Goldsborough Cricket Club
4. In the list returned click on ‘apply for membership’ next to your club name
5. Complete the necessary details in the form, agree to the terms and conditions and click ‘apply for membership’
Your application will now be reviewed by your club web site administrator and either accepted or rejected
Club membership provides you with a higher level of access on your club site. With these rights approved you will be able to see match details and teams selected for the forthcoming games, see other member's contact details and see club notices which are visible only to club members, away from the prying eyes of other visitors to our site.
Importantly, membership also helps your club administrator(s) and other members by having you listed in your club's online member database.
